Michael Coleman was born in Dublin in 1951. His work is represented in
many collections including that of Trinity College Dublin, The Irish Museum
of Modern Art, The Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery of Art and The Arts Council
of Ireland. Solo exhibitions include Galerie Necht St. Karl, Vienna
(1984), Galerie Wolfgang Richter, Munich (1989), Michael Coleman,
Temple Bar Gallery, Dublin (1990). Group exhibitions include Art 1999,
Green On Red Gallery, Chicago (1999), Shifting Ground, 50 Years of Irish
Art 1950 -2000, at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin (2000). |
